So you’re on your way to college and the excitement is shattered when you see the expenses of a c college education. Don’t worry there are ways to save money and one way that will benefit you in your college life is to buy used textbooks. The cost of college books is a shock to most students. Most online book stores also have a program where they will buy back your used textbooks. This will allow you to recover some of the expense and put that money toward other books. Over the course of your college years, the savings will be great from buying used textbooks. Most books are ones that will never be used again but some are more important than others. If you have a class that will pertain to your career on a daily basis you may want to buy a new textbook and keep it for years to come. But for the majority of the time, cheap college textbooks are the way to go.

I would like a basic, unbiased textbook on American History. By unbiased, I mean NO left-wing/right-wing babble; just what happened, when it happened and suggestions as to why it happened. I would like something extensive, but it doesn’t have to be college level.

I remember a good textbook I had in high school, but I’m not sure how I can get a copy of that book.

Oh, and I would prefer a book that is updated, no older than 2000.

Yes I buy from AbeBooks all the time. When you order from AbeBooks you are actually buying from a small bookstore somewhere in America.

Make sure that you are getting the correct year of the textbook – otherwise you might get one that is too old of the same name and author.
